Juicing Apples to make cocktails

Juicing with a cold press juicer definitely feels like you’re throwing out your apple juice container. But, with this kind of juicer you can save money by juicing using apples instead of fresh.

By juicing using apples you can save a lot of money on juice. As you can see in the pictures below, apples are much smaller than apples that you would find in the store, so you’re not getting the same amount of volume in each apple, and they’re not as flavorful.

You also have the added benefit that the apples themselves are so much smaller, so there’s no risk of splitting them.

How to Make Your Own Juicing Cocktail

As I mentioned above, we’ve been juicing for over three years now. For this post we’ve pulled a few of our favourite recipes, to show you what you can expect to get for your money when you invest in juicing your own apples. Below, you’ll find a selection of apple recipes we’ve used over that time period, and some of our favorites that have since made the jump from making a batch to bulk. The process is easy, and you can even do it in your own kitchen if you don’t have a juicing machine. Here we have the following juicing cocktails to get you started. Some are basic, like apple juice cocktails; others offer more variety and taste; others, like apple chutney, are unique and made specifically to compliment one another.

Apple juice makes a great apple chutney! Apple cider vinegar is the perfect combo of acidic and sweet flavors to give your apple cider a unique and tasty taste. This apple cider vinegar cocktail was created by a bartender at the The Wild Wing Bar in San Francisco as a health supplement. Apple Cider Vinegar Mix 4 ounces fresh cider vinegar 1 teaspoon cinnamon 2 teaspoons sugar 2 teaspoons water Add all ingredients and shake until very well combined. Serve over ice with an apple wedge or a sprig of fresh mint. An apple cider brine is made from apple cider vinegar with a few tablespoons of lemon juice to balance the tartness of the cider. The idea is to allow the juice to soak into the meat before it is cooked.
